Synopsis:

Lee So Young (Jang Nara) life dream is to be a fashion designer but because of family circumstances, she never has chance to attend any class or course in this field. She was blessed with youthful appearances and mistakenly accepted to join a famous design company called The Style as junior designer using her sister's identity. She needs to overcome obstacles from her seniors and rivals to stay in this company.

Choi Jin Wook (Choi Daniel) is a one managing director in The Style and responsible to manage the promotions and sales of all new products. He is the heir of famous restaurant chains business but not interested to work with his father. He always in disagreement term with his father and choose to be independent without his father influences.

His first meeting with Lee So Young was at bar and due to some misunderstanding they are fighting with each other. Then they meet again, this time at The Style and become colleague and later as lover. But their love story is not going smoothly because of big age gap and interference of another man.

Ji Seong Il (Ryu Jin) is the president of The Style. He is a cold man and also a single father.

Kang Yoon Seo (Kim Min Seo) is one of the head team designers in The Style. She graduated from overseas in fashion designing and her name already well-known in fashion industry. She has crushed on Seong Il since a long time and after a few years her feelings to him still the same. However her childhood dream to be his bride might not happen when Seong Il's starts showing interest to Le So Young. Due to jealousy, she tried to do anything to destroy So Young's dreams.

I started watching this drama because of Jang Nara. After a few years, she makes a comeback with this KDrama after My Lovely Patzzi and I love her acting in MLP. I make a right decision because it is a really a good drama and worth my time watching it.

The main story is about a woman with lack requirements struggling to achieve her dreams. Then she fall in love in with a younger man. This is a taboo in our society but now it becomes a trend. The story is simple and feel close with our ordinary life. I think this is what it makes the drama so interesting because it feels real.

The main actors also did a good job. So Young character as an innocence woman with pure heart will makes you fall in love with her at first sight. While, Jin Wook character as playful guy but when it comes to love he will be confidence is so adorable. Both of them are so cute together and will always makes you smile and giggle with their cute antics.

I really enjoy watching this drama and It gives me warm feeling. I hope it will be the same with you guys too. Enjoy!

Synopsis:

Gu Ae Jong (Gong Hyo Jin) was a leader of popular idol group 10 years ago called National Treasure. She never revealed what actually happen that leads to the disbandment of their group and keeps the secret for herself. After 10 years being treated unfairly by anti-fans, she still survives in the entertainment industry doing everything that can give her air-time.

Dok Go Jin (Cha Seung Won) is the top movie star, most wanted male celebrity and king of CF (Commercial Film) endorsement. He is at the peak of his career and counting his days to break into international market. Despites his perfect live, he has one secret that only a very few people knows...his heart is broken.

These two people from different personality and status meet and involved with each other business. He always torments Ae Jong with his harsh words but silently he care and support her. Dok Go heart always flutter everytime he heard Ae Jong's ringing tone and the song actually from Ae Jong's previous group album. He is confuse either his heart is broken again or he has special feeling for Ae Jong.

Yoon Pil Joo (Yoon Kye Sang) is a doctor of Oriental medicine running his family business. He has a friend in entertainment business and was offered to join a dating show. He has no interest in entertainment industry but accept the offer because of Ae Jong.

Kang Se Ri (Yoo In Na) is the youngest member of National Treasure. After the group was disbanded she continues her career in entertainment industry and become more popular. She is a contract girlfriend for Dok Go Jin but they actually do not have feeling for each other. Her relationship with Ae Jong is not so good because of some misunderstanding that happen during their idol time.

Ae Jong, Pil Joo and Se Ri involved with each other when three of them meet in dating show that was hosted by Se Ri, while Ae Jong is one of the contestants that trying to grab Pil Joo's love.

What will happen when Pil Joo really fall in love with Ae Jong but her heart was already stuck with Dok Go while Dok Go is still confuse either his feeling for Ae Jong is love or because his heart is broken again. To worsen the situation, Se Ri confessed her love to Pil Joo.

This drama grabs my attention because of their studded cast and was written by Hong Sisters, the popular writers that also wrote my favorite dramas like My Girlfriend is A Gumiho, You Are Beautiful and My Girl. Besides, I also love the heroin Gong Hyo Jin from her previous drama Pasta and looking forward for her acting in this drama.

This drama has a sweet love story that makes you smile even when you cried. Hong Sisters is really an expert in capturing our heart with their romantic comedy story. Like their previous dramas, this drama also have their own secret recipe that makes fan hooked and captivated until the end with their make believe story. This time they make celebrity life story as their main focus with the involvement of fanatic fans and anti-fans in measuring the popularity of a celebrity. Now everytime I heard or read words like ‘potato’, 'recharge' and ‘ding dong’, I will remember this drama.

I love how they create Dok Go Jin character as an arrogant man that can have everything with his popularity but have a weak heart. However, he never makes his situation as an obstacle for him to succeed. He always move forward either in career or love. His 2 different faces that always look cold and arrogant but can change to comical depends on situation is so hillarious.

I admired Gu Ae Jeong character as a woman with a big heart that always put other people feeling first. She doesn't care what will happen to herself as long as she can protect people that she cares. This is cliché to most korean Drama but who cares? Sometimes I am grinding my teeth when she makes decision that always unfavorable for herself but I am understand her reason.

The song selection for the Drama OST also was good. I love all the songs as much as I love the story itself and my most favorite song is Thump Thump (Dugeun Dugeun) by Sunnyhill.

This is another great drama from Hong sisters and it is worth your time to watch it! Now this drama is in my all time favorite KDrama List!

This is a good drama but I don't like the ending. I feel like they are too rush to make it ended because the main hero (Kim Na Gil) was called to join the national service when they still shooting. Just imagine the original plan to have 20 episodes was shortened to 17 episodes. But still I have to admit that Kim Na Gil did a really good job in playing Gun Wook's character where he needs to play with his emotions all the times. He makes me feel sorry for him even when he do bad things and I can feel the sorrow that he buried in his heart. He really good in showing his emotions through his eyes where I can feel his hatred, loneliness, sadness and hurt through them. Good job Kim Na Gil, this drama is worth watching!

Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) was unlucky girl, she was left alone at a bus stop by her mother and grew up in an orphanage. He met Song Ji So who becomes her best friend, her guardian and her lover. After Song Ji So died in an accident, she lost hope to live and always attempt to commit suicide but failed. She works night shift at a convenient store and does not care what was going on around her. She never give up to die, one day she went to the same place where Ji So died, walking to the middle of the busy road and wait to die. She almost get hit by a truck but somebody pulled her hand and she was saved again. But, it cause a big havoc when the truck lost control after an emergency break and caused a lot of car crash into each other. One of the drivers at the scene was Shin Ji Hyun.

Shin Ji Hyun (Nam Gyu Ri) was a kind-hearted girl and always try to make people around her feel happy and loved. Her life is like a fairytale where she was blessed with a happy family and adored by her friends. She was about to marry her fiance, Kang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin), but her fairytale story was broken to pieces when she gets into a car accident that makes her coma. After the accident her soul was separated from her body and she met the Scheduler (Jeong Il Wo), a messenger who awaits to take souls to their final destination. She was given a second chance to live because she was not suppose to die yet, but with one condition, she has to find three people but not from her family members who would cry genuine tears for her.

In order to find these genuine tears she borrows Yi Kyung body during afternoon and she needs to follow 3 rules; one, she can't tell anyone that she is Shin Ji Hyun, 2nd, she only can use Yi Kyung's body when she's sleeping from 10 am to midnight and 3rd, she have to be at Yi Kyung's house by midnight and if one minuets late she will lost 1 days out of 49 days. She gets a job at a restaurant own by her friend, Han Kang (Jo Hyun Jae) because she can't use Yi Kyung's money for herself. She thought it was easy to collect these three tears but it not as easy as she was expected when the true colour of her friends came out and she starts to remember a shocking truth that happen before her accident.

This drama reminds me that people heart is the most difficult thing to understand. It constantly changes with times and situations. Like Shin Ji Hyun, she always has a kind heart and loves other people honestly without prejudice. But her kindness makes her friends feel irritated and envious. The true colour of her friend’s heart only showed when something bad happen to her. Indeed, it is difficult to find a true friend that will always be with us during hard and happy times. There is saying that ‘a friend in need is a friend indeed’. So, is it possible for Jin Hyun to find these genuine tears? Who will cry for her? What are the shocking truth that happen before her accident? Watch this drama and you will find the answer :)

This drama is so exciting and makes me hooked on every episode. Looking at how Do Hyun transform from a warm person to cold hearted man really makes me goosebumps. Jung Yun character is so warm and sweet, her decision to stand by Do Hyun until the end, to support him during hard time makes my heart feel at ease. I have mixed feeling at In Hye character, sometimes I feel sorry for her but most of the times she makes me grinding my teeth. She will do anything to achieve her greed ambitions. And Myung Jun is so unfortunate man that can make me cry. All the actors have done a good job. This drama makes me realizes that we will lose everything if our eyes was blinded by Power, Greed & Money.

She grew up with a young boy, a son of an honourable man and a mistress, because of his mother status this young boy always being cast away by other nobleman's kids. It makes them closer and has special feelings for each other. This young boy grew up to become a police commander and very loyal to his job and country.

Despite all the hardships in her life, Chae Ok managed to become a Damo (low ranked woman detective). She has an excellent swordplay skills and a very good investigator, because of that she was loved and respected by her collegue. But, being a damo is not an easy job, she not only fighting crimes but also have to face the inequalities for her status in society because she is a woman and also a slave.

On the other hand, her brother grew up as a rebel leader fighting against society injustice. He was admired by a lot people and has many followers. Both brother and sister fighting against each other without realize that they were siblings.

Joen's said:

Ha Ji Won is one of my favourite actresses and I have high expectation for this drama. This is the first Sageuk drama that she played before Hwang Jini (2006). She did a good job in portraying Chae Ok a female detective. I can feel the pained feeling of Chae Ok in her love life that cannot fall on love with Hwangbo Yoon because of her social status and also for her forbidden love with Jang Sungbaek. She did most of the stunt actions by herself. This drama full of actions and all the actors played their roles well. This is a good drama and heart breaking at the same time. I will suggest this drama if this is the first time you want to watch Saeguk drama because typical Korean Sageuk drama will have more than 50th episodes.

Set in beautiful Jeju island is the only key to make me finish this drama. Other than that, it is only an ordinary drama where we can predict the ending from the start.

Synopsys:

The main character Gil Ra Im (Ha Ji Won) is a stuntwoman who’s always committed and loves her job so much. She is a humble person in field but has strong will to success in the entertainment industry. She is one of the experts in her field and become the object of envy of top actresses. Her father was died when she still in high school and that makes her independent person and never relies to others.

Kim Joo Won (Hyun Bin) is the most eligible bachelor that every woman ever dreamed for. His good looks, educational background and inheritance are his advantages. However, to this arrogant man, a woman is just a strategic partner to produce heir to inherit family's wealth.

One day, he met Ra Im and his views for a woman become a mess. He always longs to see this woman eventhough she not up to his standard of an ideal woman. Ra Im never agrees to his ideology and they always in heat debate everytime they met. But whenever he was alone, he always thinks of this woman and it wounded his pride. For Ra Im, Jo Won is a sweet guy but dangerous.

One fine day they went to a trip in an island and get lost while cycling. They get deep into the mountains and entered a strange garden. A strange grandmother offered them something to eat. Before they went back, she gave them 2 bottles of home made drink as presents. The next day they found themselves changing bodies and it happens whenever it rains.

My Comment:

What can I say? This drama is just so good. With Ha Ji Won and Hyun Bin as the main lead nothing can go wrong. Both of them already have their own successful story with their previous project, Ha Ji Won with Hwang Jini, What Happen in Bali & Damo and Hyun Bin with My Lovely Samsoon, Snow Queen & Worlds Within (list of their drama that I have watched), now Secret Garden can be added to this list. In my personal opinion, Secret Garden is the best project from them so far. I bet many KDrama lover out there already put this drama in their all time list like me ;)

Hong Jung Min aka Alex Hong (Lee Jung Jin) is the classmate of Hyun Woo and also his rival in class and love. He is an ambitious person and willing to do anything to achieve his dreams.

Hyun Woo and Soo In became lover but Soo In does not have intention to get married and have family. After spending one night together, she left to join a voluntarily program overseas. It makes Hyun Woo frustrated.

After graduated, Hyun Woo came back to korea and open his own law firm. He starts from below without help from his father. Soo In also came back for 2 months to conduct some research. While Alex also came to Korea to solve a case. The three of them meet again because they eventually involve in the same case. The real story and conflict begin here. Can they solve this case based on their own principals and beliefs? How they solve their love conflicts? Whose gonna get hurt and die?

My Comment:

Watching their student's life makes me missed my college days so much. It really fun but it will be better if they can speak English clearly if not fluently (I too can't speak English fluently and it's understandable for Asian who use English as their second language). I can only understand Kim Tae Hee's dialog without looking at subtitles. Overall I love this drama. At first, I hesitant to watch it because I'm afraid it will be boring knowingly the storyline is about law. But as I done watching first episode I can't stop to watch the next because it's really addictive.

Synopsys:

The main character Cha Dae Woong(Lee Seung Gi) was raised up by his grandfather and aunty after his parent died. On his attempt to escape from his grandfather, he stucks at a temple and this immature guy acidentally released a nine-tail fox (Shin Min Ah) who was imprisoned for 500 years. The fox transform into a beautiful woman who follows him around, causing misunderstandings and jealosy from his friends. Although he enjoys the attention from people around him, he is also always in extreme fear that the Gumiho may want to eat his liver in order to become human. Gradually he change into a responsible person from the power of love. But when both of them falls for each other as time goes by, the Gumiho’s past come back to hunt her causing an unexpected twist in their lives and fates.

My Comment:

This is one of my all time favourite drama. Lee Seung Gi's acting has improved a lot in this series. It really annoyed me when he do immature thing in the earlier episode, he makes me laugh hard with his funny scene and he makes my heart torn when he cried. Shin Min Ah acting also amazing this drama. This is the first time i watched her play as a bright and cheerful girl. She is the perfect actress to be a gumiho and to be paired with Lee Seung Gi. I love 'hoi couple' forever.

Finally I've got the time to watch this drama. I've bought the DVD a few months ago but keep on postpone to watch it because it has 55 episodes and I don't like to watch it part by part. At last I'm able to watch it last week and I've got to spend 4 days to finish all 55 episodes and I really like it.

It is a historical story as well as romance that were set in the Paekche Kingdom. It relates to a well known legend in Korea regarding Mu's marriage (30th king of Paekche) to a princess of Silla (Princess Seonhwa). In this drama, Mu of Paekche appears as the hidden son of King Wideok of Paekche (27th king of Paekche) because his mother is a palace dancer. In order to protect him from danger, his mother move from place to place to avoid from being recognized by their enemies. After the death of his mother, Mu went to Silla and meet with Princess Seonhwa accidentally. During this time, Mu doesn't know that he is the heir of Paekche kingdom.

The young Seodong (Mu's childhood name) falls in love with Princess Seonhwa and intentionally spreads a song about the princess and himself among the people. Luckily, the princess also love him, but they have to face many separations and challenges for their love because they come from two rivalry kingdom. But their love win...opss I’ve given the spoiler for those who are going to watch this drama...but you will cry in the end...at least...I am crying...why? you should watch it yourself..:P

Besides the love story between this couple, the drama also enlighten the story of lower class people rising to the top, the hardship for Seodong (King Mu) to claim his right, betrayal and trust in friendship, dirty politic among nobles and most interesting part is that it focuses on a fierce technology war among kingdom that exist in that time...almost 1,500 years ago...

So if you are k-drama lover and like historical genre, you should not miss to watch this drama...:)

Synopsis

My Summary:
I've spent 2 days to finish this series. The story is about a group of people who love to play musical instruments. They have different background and character but have the same passion in music. In order to be recognized and accepted by others, they have to go through a lot of obstacles and hardships to form their own orchestra. They keep chasing their dreams in what they love the most in the world and that gives them great satisfaction. It's so inspiring and moving story. It tells you, whatever it is...never give up to pursue your dreams...
